Direct Funerals,Celebrations of Life and Memorials

For some people a visit to a Crematorium or Burial Ground isn’t appropriate. So, a Direct Funeral attended by your chosen Funeral Director can be the solution. A celebrant-led separate ceremony can take place at a time and location that feels right for you. This allows for grieving space and the opportunity to prepare a more personal farewell.

These ceremonies often include music, readings, and shared memories that may not have been possible immediately after the loss. I understand that the final formal farewell is one of the most heartfelt and challenging aspects of grief. Whether you choose a formal ceremony, a direct funeral followed by a celebration of life, a scattering of ashes, or something entirely unique, I will work closely with you to design a meaningful farewell.

"Dear Patricia, You did such a beautiful job this morning, I just want to say thank you on behalf of myself and my family. You have been so kind and thoughtful which has helped enormously. I think my mum would be so happy with how you held things and led us through our goodbye today. With thanks and kindness, S"

Hi Patricia, Just wanted to say a big thank you from all of us for the lovely, compassionate and funny service you helped give for our Late Mum yesterday. We wish you all the best, and hopefully next time we meet it’s under better circumstances. Kind regards, S, M, N and Families
